Renaud Lavoie a fait ses études primaires et secondaires à Hull. Par la
suite, il plie bagage en direction de Jonquière pour y suivre un cours de
trois ans en Art et Technologie des médias.
C'est en 1993, à sa sortie du CEGEP de Jonquière, qu'il débute sa carrière
en communications à Windsor, en Ontario. Il accepte alors un poste de
journaliste à la Société Radio-Canada.
En septembre 93, Renaud décide de retourner aux études pour entreprendre un
baccalauréat en sciences politiques à l'Université d'Ottawa. En novembre de
la même année, il reprend le chemin des communications et accepte le poste
de journaliste à la station de radio CBOF à Ottawa, emploi qu'il cumule
jusqu'en 1997. Au cours de ces quatre années, il a été correspondant à
Ottawa pour la Soirée du hockey radio sur les ondes de CBF.
En août 1997, il décide d'apporter un changement à sa carrière en acceptant
un poste de journaliste au réseau Radio-Média à CJRC à Gatineau. Il accède
par la suite au poste de responsable de la salle des nouvelles. Finalement,
la saison de hockey 1998-1999, lui a donné l'opportunité de chausser les
souliers d'analyste lors des matchs des Sénateurs d'Ottawa.
C'est au début de la saison de hockey 1996-1997 que Renaud s'est joint à
l'équipe de Sports 30 en tant que correspondant à Ottawa pour les matchs des
Sénateurs. Le voilà à Montréal où il est attitré à la couverture du Canadien
pour le bulletin de nouvelles Sports 30.
Sa plus belle expérience de journaliste est certainement la couverture des
Jeux olympiques d'Atlanta.
RENAUD LAVOIE Sports 30/Hockey Journalist Renaud Lavoie made his primary and secondary studies with Hull. Thereafter, it folds luggage in direction of Jonquière to follow there a three years course in Art and Technology of the media. During these four years, it was corresponding in Ottawa for the Evening of radio operator hockey on the waves of CBF. In August 1997, it decides to bring a change to its career by accepting a post of journalist to the network Radio-Media to CJRC to Gatineau. It reaches thereafter the station of person in charge for the room of the news. Finally, the season of hockey 1998-1999, gave him the advisability of fitting the shoes of analyst at the time of the matches of the Senators d' Ottawa. It is at the beginning of the season of hockey 1996-1997 that Renaud joined to the team of Sports 30 as a correspondent in Ottawa for the matches of the Senators. Here it is in Montreal where it is appointed with the cover of the Canadian for the bulletin of new Sports 30.
